The TG2016SKA launched by EPSON is a temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) designed specifically for applications such as in car navigation and V2X (TCU, DSRC); The frequency deviation of the temperature compensated crystal oscillator remains within ± 0.5ppm over a wide operating temperature range of -40 ℃ to+105 ℃. Although some crystals on the market are also high-precision, they do not have temperature compensation function and can achieve high accuracy within the normal temperature range. However, the frequency deviation in the entire working temperature range will be large. The low frequency deviation of TG2016SKA in the entire temperature range provides strong guarantee for navigation accuracy.
The current mainstream size of crystal oscillators is 3.2 × 2.5 × 1.2 mm. In some products with very compact PCB areas, it is difficult to place an additional ceramic capacitor. If the size of the crystal oscillator can be further reduced, it can be applied in some portable products. The external dimensions of TG2016SKA temperature compensated crystal oscillator are 2.0 × 1.6 × 0.7 mm, with only 0.4 times the original PCB area occupied and a thickness reduced by 0.5mm.
The TG2016SKA temperature compensated crystal oscillator complies with the AEC-Q100 vehicle specification standard, supporting an output frequency range of 13MHz~55MHz and a working temperature range of -40 ℃~+105 ℃. The typical phase jitter value at 26MHz is 0.13ps. The frequency characteristic parameters of the product are as follows.
