Epson XC1011SD is a combined angular velocity acceleration sensor designed for automotive electrical stability control systems. It integrates a single axis gyroscope sensor and a dual axis accelerometer, which can output Z-axis angular velocity while outputting acceleration changes in both the X-axis and Y-axis. It is mainly used to detect physical states such as movement, tilt, or vibration of equipment. Epson achieves high reliability of this combination sensor by installing diagnostic functions.

Main features and advantages:

Integrated gyroscope sensor and dual axis accelerometer: Through Epson's systematic integrated design, the debugging time during development has been reduced, and the overall performance indicators and reliability of the system have been improved.

The quartz crystal component using Epson's patented dual T structure technology has an external size of only 6.5 x 5.2mm and a standby power consumption of less than 20mA, further achieving the goals of ultra small size and low power consumption.

Digital output: Output 16 bit angular velocity (Yaw) and acceleration (X, Y-axis) and 11 bit temperature information through SPI interface.

Real time monitoring of sensor status: By installing diagnostic functions, ensure its long-term stable operation.

Seismic and vibration resistance performance: The design specifically considers meeting the vibration resistance requirements of automobiles, ensuring that the sensor can maintain good performance even in harsh environments.

Compliant with AEC-Q100 automotive standards, ROHS and Pb Free environmental standards, and supports hardware component evaluation according to ASIL ISO26262.
