Three innovative technologies of Epson electronic components were unveiled together:

Epson's four major mature sensor solutions:
1. ADAS + Yaw technical solution: Unmanned and autonomous driving and high-precision navigation
In order to realize the real sense of autonomous driving, first of all, the combination of navigation with high precision positioning is required, and + Yaw scheme is the best choice that can achieve both high precision and high cost performance. The realization of positioning requires 6 DoF (six degrees of freedom) products, and the realization of high precision positioning, the accuracy of the Z axis is the most concerned. The Epson + YAW scheme is to add a Z-axis high-precision single-axis gyroscope on the basis of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) + 6 DOF, and at the same time meet the vehicle and safety certification of related products, so as to achieve high-precision meter-level positioning.
Based on the + YAW scheme, Epson and Lake North Cloud Technology Co., Ltd. cooperated to launch high-precision combined navigation products, and achieved remarkable results in relevant comparison experiments, helping the automobile industry to achieve a real sense of autonomous driving.
2. Gyroscope sensor products and modules: they comply with the selection of high-performance industrial applications
Based on Epson's single-axis high-precision gyroscope chip, Epson and a third party launched a 6-axis gyroscope module, mainly for the application of grass mowing robots and industrial AGV scenarios.
At present, the mowing robot mostly adopts RTK scheme, while RTK positioning often has signal loss problem in practical application. At this time, high precision inertial navigation is needed to do the support to keep the mowing robot working normally. Epson's gyroscope module can achieve the measured yaw error within 10° per hour, effectively solve this problem. Not only that, the gyroscope module also has the advantages of convenience and high cost performance. It can not only support high-precision Euler Angle output, realize ready-to-use, simplify research and development operation without any follow-up processing, but also meet users' high requirements for consumer robots at low cost.
3. IMU (lnertial Measurement Unit) Inertial navigation measurement unit module: accurate detection of inertial motion information
Back in 2011, Epson released its first IMU. The product is composed of three-axis quartz gyro sensor + three-axis accelerometer, and the internal comprehensive compensation and calibration, can achieve the stable output of high-precision data for customers for a long time in the full temperature environment. At present, Epson IMU products have been mature used in lidar mapping, Yuntai and other image stabilization systems, agricultural and industrial machinery intelligence and other fields.
Among them, the LiAir X3 third-generation overhead line intelligent autonomous inspection system launched by Digital Green Earth, which focuses on domestic lidar industry application solutions, adopts Epson's high-precision IMU products. The system integrates light and small lidar, high resolution mapping camera and high computing power edge computing platform, which can realize fully autonomous patrol operation in a specific environment, fully autonomous imitation flight without route planning, which not only simplifies the operation process, but also greatly improves the operation efficiency. The product won the China Lidar Innovative Product Award for this original technology.
4. Ultra-high precision MEMS accelerometer product: to achieve reliable, safe and accurate monitoring
Epson quartz accelerometer is an ultra-low noise (0.2 ug Nhz) note 2 high stability of MEMS products, it through the double tone and differential frequency measurement, achieve high precision output, very suitable for long time stable detection of environment sound, building resonance frequency and frequency of high-rise buildings or underground, and measurement analysis.
