The inertial measurement unit M-G370PDF is powered by a single power supply of 3.3V, with a typical operating current of 16mA. It can be calibrated and continuously operated within a temperature range of -40~85 ℃. The data resolution is up to 32 bits, and the data output can reach 2K Sps. It supports external trigger input and external counting complex input. Among the 6 degrees of freedom, the three gyroscopes have a speed of ± 450 °/s, three accelerations of ± 10 G, and an initial reference deviation of 360 °/h (1 σ)/2mG (1 σ).
The M-G370PDF supports universal SPI or UART communication. By simply connecting through the UART or SPI interface, data communication between the control system and the inertial measurement unit can be achieved, enabling system configuration, parameter calibration, and obtaining detection results.
Several application precautions:
⦁Communication interface: SPI communication or UART communication can be used, but do not connect both types of communication at the same time, otherwise it may cause abnormal operation.
⦁ Empty pin handling: For pins that are not used in the design, they need to be connected to VCC through pull-up resistors and not directly suspended.
⦁Reset pin: If the chip does not require reset processing in the design, this pin also needs to be connected to the VCC power supply terminal.
⦁ Input pins: All input pins in this device have weak pull-up resistors inside the IMU.
The inertial measurement unit M-G370PDF adopts a mini design with a 20 pin pluggable interface, making it easy to install and apply according to the actual needs of the system. The IMU has a length * width * height of 24 * 24 * 10mm and weighs only 10 grams. Based on the excellent performance parameters mentioned above, this IMU can be applied in various fields such as camera gimbal, navigation, vibration control and stability systems, directional tracking systems, and automotive autonomous driving.
