The SG-8002CA series launched by EPSON is a programmable crystal oscillator with low current consumption and high stability. It is compatible with CMOS and TTL and is very suitable for communication equipment, industrial electronics, automotive electronics, and consumer electronics fields.

The SG-8002CA series programmable crystal oscillator has the greatest advantage of having multiple selectivity in power supply voltage, output frequency range, output mode and storage, and operating temperature range. The power supply voltage is available in 3.3V and 5.0V options. When the power supply voltage is 5.0V, it can provide a frequency range of 1MHz~125MHz (PT/ST, PH/SH). When the power supply voltage is 3.3V, it can provide a frequency range of 1MHz~125MHz (PC/SC) and 1MHz~66.7MHz (PC/SC) to choose from, which can be more reasonably applied to more application scenarios and make the design of application circuits more free and convenient. In addition, the outputs of both series of programmable crystal oscillators are compatible with CMOS (PH/SH, PC/SC) and TTL (PT/ST). In addition, the storage temperature range of SG-8002CA series programmable crystal oscillators is -55 ℃~+125 ℃, and the operating temperature range of both series is -20 ℃~+70 ℃ and -40 ℃~+85 ℃, which can be selected. The SG-8002CA series programmable crystal oscillator has high frequency stability, with a frequency tolerance of no more than ± 100X10-6. Having the advantage of fast response, PT/ST models have a maximum rise and fall time of no more than 4ns (TTL load changes from 0.4V to 2.4V), while PH/SH and PC/SC models have a maximum rise and fall time of no more than 3ns (CMOS load changes from 20% VCC to 80% VCC). The SG-8002CA series programmable crystal oscillator has a long service life, with a maximum frequency aging rate of ± 5X10-6/year, and has long-term frequency stability. Its long service life can be applied to equipment with a long design life. With low current consumption characteristics, PT/ST and PH/SH models have a maximum current of 45mA under no-load conditions, while PC/SC models have a maximum current of 28mA. In addition, the standby current of all models does not exceed 50 µ A, making them very suitable for the field of portable wearable devices where low current consumption is the main consideration.
