The SG-8018/SG-8101/SG-9101 series of EPSON is a programmable crystal oscillator based on PLL technology. It can be programmed with EPSON's dedicated programming software to burn any frequency point from 0.67MHz to 166MHz at once, supporting multiple packages and configuring corresponding frequency plans such as output frequency, temperature range, accuracy, etc. Can be applied to provide clock sources for GPS, industrial equipment, base stations, and more.
The following will introduce how to use Epson SG Writer II programming configuration:
1. Firstly, place the crystal oscillator that needs to be burned into the burner, and pay attention to whether the PIN1 pin is placed correctly. CheckDevice can be used to check if the connection is successful.
2. Corresponding frequency, power supply, temperature range, OE pin function, etc. can be set on the SG Writer II software, and the corresponding parameters can be checked through CheckParameter
3. Burn the set frequency plan through Write, and check if it has been completed through the Programming procedure window.
4. In the lower right corner of the SG Writer II software, you can check if the burning was successful. If successful, it displays OK, but if unsuccessful, it is now NG.
Epson programmable series crystal oscillators can flexibly provide corresponding frequency configurations according to the needs of engineers. In the early stage of research and development, samples can be burned with blank chips for testing, resulting in fast delivery. The production time of programmable crystal oscillators also has significant advantages compared to fixed frequency points.
