MSTM Releases China's First Self Developed Dual Port MEMS Oscillator

Recently, "MSTM" released its first self-developed MEMS oscillator (MST8011 and MST8121). Its MST8121 product is the first dual port output oscillator product in China, achieving the performance that can be achieved by replacing two oscillators (MHz+KHz) with one oscillator. It can help customers simplify system design, improve reliability, reduce PCB space, save materials and production costs, and achieve the effect of "1>2".

It is reported that the two chips launched by Maxta can surpass existing products with similar functions in terms of performance and multiple parameter indicators. The product supports output of any frequency in the range of 1MHz~180MHz, and has leading technological advantages in product performance such as small size, low power consumption, compatible output, and environmental adaptation. The product can be widely used in markets such as security, video transmission, drones, robots, laptops, MBB, GPON/EPON, PC/servers, telecommunications equipment, automotive electronics, optical modules, and IoT terminals.





Self developed innovative technology to fill domestic gaps



Almost all electronic devices require clock devices to work, and crystal oscillators provide clock signals and reference frequency signals for electronic devices. They are essential basic components in various frequency control and timing systems.



With the rapid development of 5G, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things, traditional quartz crystal oscillators are no longer able to meet the requirements of electronic devices for higher accuracy, stability, smaller size, and lower power consumption. Innovative technologies for MEMS oscillators have emerged in response to this trend.



Compared with traditional quartz crystal oscillators, MEMS oscillators have advantages such as small size, shock and vibration resistance, high sensitivity, easy integration, low power consumption, low electromagnetic radiation, and fast delivery. The first MST8011 product can output any frequency within the range of 1MHz~180MHz and be accurate to 1Hz. Its broadband and high-precision product characteristics can support customers to directly replace and use the product without any hardware modifications.



The MST8121 product is the first dual port MEMS oscillator in China, which can replace the performance generated by two oscillators (MHz+KHz) with one MST8121. This can help customers simplify system design, improve reliability, reduce PCB space, save materials and production costs, and achieve a "1>2" effect.





Over a hundred patents have been developed in two years, and three new products will be launched next year
