SG-8201CJA is designed specifically for ADAS applications such as radar, LiDAR, cameras, and high-speed Ethernet, where low jitter and high-precision reference clocks are crucial. The output frequency can reach up to 170 MHz, suitable for the high radio frequency and high-speed operation required by these advanced automotive systems. In addition, utilizing Epson's internal low noise fraction n phase-locked loop, the phase jitter is only 1.1 ps type. Stability<25ppm at 125 ℃.
A small package size of 2.0 x 1.6 mm can save crucial space, as car space is increasingly limited by the number of sensors.

SG-8201CJA's Contribution to Automotive Applications

1. With temperature compensation function, it has high frequency stability over a wide temperature range

Compared with the existing SPXO SG-8101CGA, this product can adjust temperature changes within the range of+125 ℃ and has high stability over a wide temperature range. SG-8201CJA can achieve stable frequency tolerance even under harsh temperature conditions (-40 ℃ to+125 ℃), which is required for various automotive applications.

2. Reduce jitter by improving internal integrated circuit performance

Compared with the existing SPXO SG-8101CGA, the phase noise is increased by about 30 dBc/Hz and phase jitter is reduced to about 1/40 at a bias frequency of 100 kHz to 1 MHz. SG-8201CJA achieves lower jitter by reducing noise levels. It helps to improve the detection range and resolution of sensors.

3. Adopting phase-locked loop technology with high output frequency

Internal phase-locked loop technology can program any frequency up to 170 MHz by multiplying it by the frequency of the internal crystal. SG-8201CJA can support high-speed communication with higher output frequency requirements.
