Our practice is to test each crystal in several different types of oscillators. The finished crystal is subjected to mechanical stress and vibration, then tested again. The test oscillators have a frequency counter and an oscilloscope monitoring their outputs to display both frequency and the activity level of the crystal. Defective items will be replaced at no charge. No guarantees are made as to suitability for use in any particular project or device.
